Strengthening Indonesia – Philippines Collaboration in Animal Health
Vaksindo was honored to welcome a distinguished delegation from the Bureau of Animal Industry, Department of Agriculture, Philippines, during their official visit to Indonesia. The visit serves as a testament to the strong and growing partnership between Indonesia and the Philippines in advancing animal health, while reinforcing a shared commitment to innovation, scientific collaboration, and sustainable livestock development.

Over the years, the company has continuously expanded its international presence, including in the Philippines through its trusted distribution partner, UNAHCO. This official visit represents another significant milestone in strengthening the long-standing relationship between both organizations while opening new opportunities for closer technical collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The delegation from the Bureau of Animal Industry, Department of Agriculture (BAI/DA), Philippines was led by Dr. Constante J. Palabrica, Undersecretary for Livestock Department of Agriculture of the Philippines, Dr. Christian P. Daquigan, Officer-in-Charge and Director of the Bureau of Animal Industry, Mr. Neill Armand C. Padlan, Project Development Officer IV of the National Livestock Program, and Ms. Erlyn Jane B. Garcia, Project Development Officer IV of the National Livestock Program.
Representing Vaksindo and Indonesia, the visit was attended by Mr. Arief Widjaja, Head of Poultry Upstream, Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, together with Dr. Teguh Prajitno, President Director of PT Vaksindo Satwa Nusantara; and also drh. Hendra Wibawa from the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health Services, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia. Their presence highlighted the importance of fostering collaboration among industry, government, and international stakeholders to support the advancement of animal health across the region.
The program included an open discussion focusing on Vaksindo's export products for the Philippine market. The session provided an opportunity for both parties to exchange insights on market needs, product quality, regulatory perspectives, and future opportunities to further strengthen collaboration in supporting the animal health sector.
The visit continued with a plant tour, where the delegation gained a closer look at Vaksindo's research and development capabilities, vaccine manufacturing processes, quality assurance systems, and commitment to maintaining high standards in animal health innovation.
The visit further demonstrated Vaksindo's dedication to continuous innovation in animal health and its commitment to producing safe, effective, and reliable veterinary vaccines and biological products that meet both domestic and international market requirements.
